Description
Saffron opens the fragrance on its own no citrus, no second spice so the leathery, slightly medicinal character arrives undiluted and leads straight into the heart.
Rose and amber form the middle, and the amber this early means the composition is warm within minutes rather than after an hour. Sandalwood, oud and vanilla close it, and the vanilla is what sets 1006 apart from the rest of the saffron-rose-oud group: it is the only one of the nine that finishes sweet.
