Description
Vanilla and tonka is the simplest and most dependable gourmand pairing in perfumery the profile behind a great many best-selling warm fragrances. Code 1067 is our straightforward version: no fruit, no florals, no complication. Just warmth.
Tonka bean is the material doing most of the work. It smells of almond, hay, tobacco and vanilla all at once, and it gives a fragrance a soft, powdery sweetness that lasts far longer than vanilla alone would. Paired together, the two reinforce each other into a drydown that stays on skin all day.
The woody base keeps it from becoming a dessert. This is a comfort fragrance rather than a sweet one closer to warm skin than to baking which is why it wears well year-round and across both men and women.
Commercially it is a safe, high-repeat SKU, and it is one of the best oils in the range for body cream and candles.
