Description
Vanilla is the most dependable sweet note in perfumery, which is exactly why a vanilla needs an angle. Code 1252 has two: a dark, jammy blackcurrant and a green, aromatic cardamom, both in the opening.
Blackcurrant and cardamom open it tart dark fruit, slightly green, against a cool, almost citrusy spice. Rose in the heart links the fruit to the base and gives it a soft floral roundness.
Vanilla finishes it warm and creamy. Cosy without being cloying, unisex and easy to like, it suits an autumn-winter launch or a gift set, supplied ready-mixed and bottled as received.

Is it more fruity or more vanilla?
Fruity at first, vanilla later. Blackcurrant leads the opening, and as it settles the vanilla takes over.
What does cardamom smell like?
Fresh, green and slightly citrusy a cool spice rather than a hot one like cinnamon or clove.
How does it compare with 1249 Sweet Marshmallow Vanilla?
1249 is airy, floral and feminine; 1252 is darker and spiced, with a unisex feel. Stock both and they rarely overlap.
Is it seasonal?
It is strongest from autumn to early spring, but sweet vanillas sell year-round.
Do I need to dilute it?
No. 1252 is supplied ready-mixed at its finished strength. Fill it straight into spray bottles; there is no blending, weighing or dilution step.
