Description
Three oils in this catalogue open on passion fruit. 1003 turns into an oud, 1178 stays bright and musky, and 1199 becomes warm and vanillic which makes it the only one of the three that works as a full perfume rather than a body mist.
Passion fruit and bergamot open it tart and tropical. Passion fruit is sharper and more exotic than most fruits used in perfumery and it gives the opening real energy.
Rose and jasmine form the heart. Two full florals under a fruit opening is more structure than a tropical fragrance usually has, and it is what allows the composition to develop rather than simply fade.
Vanilla, musk and amber close it warm and sweet. The distance from the tart opening to the creamy drydown is considerable, and it gives the fragrance a proper arc the reason it holds up at eau de parfum concentration where 1178 would not.
