Every finished perfume sold in the UK or EU needs a safety report, a product file and a notification. Our assessors already know this oil.
Description
Oud can be challenging for customers new to it: smoky, animalic, medicinal. Code 1265 is built to be the easy entry the classic saffron, rose and oud structure, finished on vanilla so it reads as smooth and luxurious.
Saffron opens it with a warm, leathery spice and a golden richness. Rose forms the heart, full and velvety.
Oud and vanilla finish it. The vanilla rounds the oud's darker edges into something sweet and resinous, and gives it broad appeal. Unisex and long-lasting, it suits a luxury gift set or a first oud for a new range.

Questions about this oil
Is it suitable for customers new to oud?
Yes, that is what it is built for. The vanilla softens the oud so it smells rich and sweet rather than smoky or medicinal.
How is it different from 1262 Oriental Amber Oud?
Only the base differs. 1265 has vanilla, which makes it sweeter and smoother; 1262 has amber, which makes it drier and more resinous.
Can I use the word royal on my label?
As a product name it is a descriptive word. Avoid anything implying royal patronage, such as crests or "by appointment" wording, which is restricted.
Is it long-lasting?
Very. Oud and vanilla are both heavy base materials.
Can I sell it under my own brand?
Yes. Once 1265 is in your bottle with your label, you are placing a cosmetic product on the market. It needs a Responsible Person, a Cosmetic Product Safety Report, a Product Information File and notification (SCPN in Great Britain, CPNP in the EU) before sale. We prepare all of these.
What sizes and lead time?
A 5 ml sample, 500 ml and 1000 ml, shipped in 4–6 working days with IFRA certificate, allergen declaration and Safety Data Sheet.
