Description
Tea fragrances sell on calm: they smell clean, quiet and expensive without trying. Code 1253 uses oolong a semi-oxidised tea that sits between green and black and pairs it with fig for a soft, milky-green finish.
Bergamot opens it bright, with a pinch of nutmeg that adds a subtle warmth most fresh fragrances lack. Oolong tea forms the heart: lightly toasted, floral and leafy.
Fig finishes it green leaf and milky, creamy fruit together. Unisex and understated, it suits a spa or wellness-led brand, an everyday office scent or a minimalist range.

Every bulk order from Phoenix Cosmetic Safety ships with the paperwork you need to put the finished product on the UK or EU market not just the oil.
- IFRA Conformity Certificate the maximum safe dosage for your product category, issued for the batch you buy.
- Allergen declaration every declarable allergen with its percentage, so your label meets Annex III as amended by Regulation (EU) 2023/1545.
- Safety Data Sheet (SDS) 16-section GHS document for your carrier, warehouse and Amazon hazmat review.
- Technical data sheet flashpoint, density, solubility, appearance and recommended dosage.
Need the finished-product documents too? We are a cosmetic regulatory consultancy as well as a supplier: we prepare the Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR), Product Information File and SCPN/CPNP notification for the perfume you make with this oil. No other bulk oil supplier does both.
Questions about this oil
What is the difference between oolong and green tea?
Oolong is partly oxidised, so it smells softer, slightly toasted and floral. Green tea is sharper and grassier.
Is bergamot a concern for phototoxicity?
Bergamot oil can contain bergapten, which IFRA restricts. The IFRA certificate supplied confirms the finished perfume is within the limits for its intended use.
How does it compare with 1266 Woody Black Tea Fig?
Both pair tea with fig. 1253 is fresh and light, with bergamot; 1266 is darker and woodier, with black tea, iris and sandalwood. 1253 for daytime, 1266 for evening.
Who should stock it?
A brand with a clean, wellness or spa positioning. Tea fragrances sit naturally beside candles and bath products.
Can I sell it under my own brand?
Yes. Once 1253 is in your bottle with your label, you are placing a cosmetic product on the market. It needs a Responsible Person, a Cosmetic Product Safety Report, a Product Information File and notification (SCPN in Great Britain, CPNP in the EU) before sale. We prepare all of these.
What sizes and lead time?
A 5 ml sample, 500 ml and 1000 ml, shipped in 4–6 working days with IFRA certificate, allergen declaration and Safety Data Sheet.
