Description
Coconut, lime and rum: customers name the cocktail before they finish reading the notes. Code 1244 is a ready-mixed tropical perfume built on that recognition, and it gives a brand a summer product that needs very little explanation.
Lime and rum open it together sharp, zesty citrus over a warm, slightly sweet boozy note. The rum is a perfumery accord, and it stops the lime from reading as cleaning-product fresh. Ylang-ylang in the heart adds a creamy, sun-warmed floral tone.
Coconut closes it soft and milky, the note that lingers on skin after a day at the beach. Bright rather than heavy, it suits a summer launch, a resort or travel range, or a holiday gift set.

Questions about this oil
Is the rum note made from real rum?
No. It is an accord built from aroma materials that recreate rum's warm, sweet, slightly boozy smell.
Does ylang-ylang need allergen labelling?
Ylang-ylang naturally contains several declarable allergens, such as linalool, geraniol and benzyl benzoate. The allergen declaration supplied lists each with its percentage, so you can see which must appear on your label.
Is it seasonal?
Yes. It is strongest from April to August, and sells year-round in hot-climate markets.
How does it compare with 1254 Fruity Peach Rum?
Both use rum. 1244 is tropical and fresh, led by lime and coconut; 1254 is juicier and warmer, with peach, blood orange and a vanilla base.
