Description
Three warming materials open this fragrance at once cinnamon, ginger and honey with nothing cool or bright to balance them. It is the most directly warming composition in the catalogue and the obvious choice for a winter or festive product.
Cinnamon and ginger supply dry spice heat and honey the sweetness, all arriving together. There is no citrus, which is deliberate: the fragrance is meant to feel like warmth from the first second rather than building toward it.
Benzoin and tonka bean form the heart. Benzoin is the useful material here a balsamic resin with a vanilla-like sweetness that blends into the honey and extends it solving the usual problem of honey fading or turning sticky.
Amber and sandalwood close it round and creamy. Very good longevity and a comforting, golden character throughout. It performs exceptionally in candles and winter gift ranges.

Questions about this oil
Why is there no citrus in the opening?
It is deliberate. The fragrance is meant to feel warm from the first second rather than building toward it, so cinnamon, ginger and honey all arrive together.
How does it compare with 1036 Honey Gardenia and 1014 Raspberry Jasmine?
1036 is a honey floral with beeswax; 1014 holds the honey back until the drydown. 1175 is the spiced one no florals at all, just warmth.
Does cinnamon restrict the dosage?
Cinnamon materials carry IFRA restrictions in leave-on products and declarable allergens. Work from your certificate for each category.
Is it good for candles?
Exceptionally. Spiced honey is one of the strongest winter and festive candle profiles.
Will it discolour?
Yes honey, benzoin and amber are all dark. Expect a golden-amber tint.
