Description
Amberwood is one of the materials that defines contemporary niche perfumery dry, radiant and woody-ambery, with impressive diffusion. Code 1201 is built around it and is one of the most current-sounding oils in the catalogue, particularly suited to an eau de parfum format.
Saffron and jasmine form the top note profile, opening warm and slightly leathery before leading directly into amberwood and cedar. These woods form the heart, giving the fragrance its dry, mineral warmth and strong projection.
Musk and amber close the composition with a smooth, warm finish. Simple, modern and highly diffusive, it is designed to project well when applied to pulse points, making it a strong choice for contemporary unisex fragrances.

Questions about this oil
What is amberwood?
A dry, mineral, woody-amber material with exceptional diffusion and a glowing warmth. It is one of the materials that defines how contemporary niche perfumery smells.
How does it compare with 1117 Ambroxan and 1237 Iso E Super?
All three are diffusive amber-woody materials. Iso E Super is softest and most velvety, ambroxan driest and saltiest, amberwood the warmest and most radiant. Stock more than one if this profile sells for you.
Why so few materials?
Simplicity is the point. Six materials, maximum projection, no complication it is how most contemporary unisex launches are constructed.
Is it strong?
Projection is high. Use the lower end of the dosage range for a wearable eau de parfum.
Is it a safe commercial choice?
Yes it matches the profile of most current niche and designer unisex launches, which makes it low-risk and current-sounding at once.
