Description
Incense sits in the heart here rather than the base, which means the smoke arrives alongside the oud rather than after it. The middle of the fragrance becomes dry and ceremonial early, creating an elegant and refined character.
Cedar in the base is the other distinguishing choice drier than sandalwood alone, it keeps the drydown from becoming too soft. Of the nine, 1053 is the driest profile, with a strong temple or bakhoor-inspired character and a composed woody finish.
