Description
Strawberry is one of the easiest fruit notes to get wrong because it can quickly become overly sweet and confectionery. Code 1013 avoids this by pairing it with violet, a powdery and slightly green material that transforms the berry into a more refined strawberry fragrance oil.
Green mandarin and strawberry form the top notes, creating a bright and slightly tart opening. Green mandarin adds a sharper, more bitter citrus character that keeps the strawberry balanced from the first impression.
Rose, jasmine and violet create the heart of the fragrance. Violet is the key material, adding a powdery, faintly green and elegant quality that gives the wild strawberries character a more sophisticated feel. Patchouli and musk form the base, adding earthy depth and a soft skin-like finish.
This fragrance oil works well for applications such as soap, soap making, reed diffusers and other finished products. A Safety Data Sheet should be maintained as part of the product documentation and compliance records.

Why does strawberry usually smell cheap?
It turns to confectionery very easily. Violet is the fix — powdery and slightly green, it pulls the berry toward perfume and away from sweets. It is a classical technique.
How does it compare with 1148 Berry Amber?
1148 is a straightforward sweet berry for the youth market. 1013 is more refined through the violet and patchouli. 1148 for volume, 1013 when you want the berry to feel considered.
What does violet smell like?
Powdery, faintly green and slightly melancholy closer to face powder and candied violets than to a fresh flower.
Is it suitable for a teen range?
Yes, though it is refined enough to sell beyond one. That breadth is the advantage over a plain berry.
