Every finished perfume sold in the UK or EU needs a safety report, a product file and a notification. Our assessors already know this oil.
Description
Cassis (blackcurrant) is one of the most useful fruit notes in perfumery because it is tart rather than overly sweet, allowing it to work beautifully against florals. Code 1026 uses it with three floral notes, creating one of the fullest fruity compositions in this range of fragrance oils.
Cassis and mandarin open the fragrance with a tart and juicy character. Cassis brings a green, slightly sulphurous edge that feels sophisticated rather than sugary, while mandarin adds softness and brightness to the opening.
May rose, freesia and neroli form the heart, creating a complete floral bouquet rather than a single floral accent. May rose adds a fresh and dewy quality, freesia brings a green peppery facet, and neroli contributes a honeyed floral depth.
Vanilla, patchouli and amber close the fragrance with warmth and balance. Patchouli adds earthy depth and controls the sweetness, allowing the fruit, florals and warm base to develop into a refined feminine composition.

Questions about this oil
What is cassis?
Blackcurrant. It is the most useful fruit in perfumery because it is tart and slightly green rather than sweet, which lets it work against florals where berries would simply add sugar.
Why three florals?
It gives the composition a genuine bouquet rather than a single-note accent. May rose, freesia and neroli each contribute a different facet dewy, green-peppery and honeyed.
How does it compare with 1001 Warm Vanilla Jasmine?
1001 is warmer and creamier with peach and patchouli. 1026 is tarter and more floral. Both are commercial fruity florals; 1026 is the more sophisticated of the two.
Is it long-lasting?
Good. The vanilla, patchouli and amber base is more substantial than the fruity opening suggests.
Does it contain declarable allergens?
Yes the rose, freesia and neroli materials carry several. The declaration lists each with percentages.
What sizes and lead time?
100 g, 250 g, 500 g, 1000 g and 5000 g, shipped in 4–6 working days with IFRA certificate, allergen declaration and Safety Data Sheet.
