Description
Sweet, gourmand and fruity is one of the most commercially dependable combinations in women’s fragrance. Code 1183 is the straightforward version, designed for broad appeal and well suited to a vanilla perfume oil or oriental vanilla fragrance profile.
Red fruits form the top notes, opening bright and jammy, while caramel and vanilla create the warm middle notes. The result is a soft, dessert-like perfume oil character that feels sweet without becoming too heavy.
Tonka bean and amber form the base notes, adding almond-hay warmth, body and a long lasting drydown. It works especially well in body mist, body cream and gift sets where a familiar vanilla-led profile has strong repeat appeal.

Questions about this oil
Why were the notes missing from this product?
The original catalogue entry gave only a fragrance direction sweet, gourmand, fruity with no materials named. The notes here are reconstructed from that direction and the product name; confirm them against your supplier specification before publishing.
How does it differ from 1222 Honey Caramel?
1222 is far richer and more complex, with honey, praline and patchouli. 1183 is a simpler, brighter sweet gourmand aimed at volume rather than distinction.
Which formats suit it best?
Body mist, body cream and gift sets. Sweet gourmands sell disproportionately well in multi-product packs.
Will it discolour?
Caramel, vanilla and tonka are dark materials. Expect an amber tint and yellowing in a white base over time.
Is it suitable for candles?
Yes sweet gourmands are among the strongest autumn and winter candle profiles.
