Description
Saffron over leather with iris underneath is one of the most influential structures in modern niche perfumery. Code 1078 is our interpretation of this style and is the most refined of the leather oils in the catalogue.
Saffron and bergamot open the fragrance, with saffron bringing a dry, leathery and slightly medicinal spice while bergamot adds enough lift to keep the opening balanced. Iris forms the heart, adding a cool, powdery and luxurious character that softens the leather into a smooth suede-like impression.
Amber, oud and sandalwood create the base, adding warmth, depth and a polished finish. The result is an extrait de parfum with a refined unisex character and long-lasting performance. Apply on pulse points to allow the fragrance to develop gradually.
