Every finished perfume sold in the UK or EU needs a safety report, a product file and a notification. Our assessors already know this oil.
Description
Citrus fragrances usually finish on dry woods, vetiver or musk. Code 1203 finishes on tonka and amber instead, creating a warmer and slightly sweeter drydown that sets it apart and works well in an amber eau de toilette style.
Lemon, bergamot and mandarin form the bright opening, while black pepper and geranium sit in the heart, bridging the fresh citrus into the warmer base without either side becoming too dominant.
Tonka bean and amber close the fragrance with a soft hay-and-almond warmth. The result is a balanced eau de toilette profile that moves from bright to warm and is easy to wear for everyday use.

Questions about this oil
Why a warm base under a citrus opening?
Most citrus fragrances finish dry. Tonka and amber make this one warm and slightly sweet instead, and the contrast with the bright top is what customers remember.
How does it compare with 1058 Earthy Citrus Woody?
1058 finishes on vetiver, cedar and benzoin earthy and dry. 1203 finishes on tonka and amber warm and sweet-edged. Same bright start, opposite endings.
Why three citrus notes?
Layering them holds the opening considerably longer than a single citrus would, and the mandarin softens the combination.
Is it seasonal?
Less than most citrus fragrances the warm base makes it wearable into autumn.
Is it suitable for beard products?
Yes, at 2–5%. The warm tonka drydown suits the category.
