Description
Pear is one of the quiet successes of modern perfumery soft, juicy and never sharp. It gives a fragrance sweetness without the sugar of berries or the tartness of citrus. Code 1092 uses it as the opening to a clean white musk profile, creating a smooth skin scent that is broadly appealing.
Pear and bergamot open it gently, with pear adding an expensive, welcoming fruit character. Jasmine and delicate musk form the heart, where the jasmine stays as a soft floral haze and gives the musk a subtle lift. The result is a smooth, musky composition with a clean feel.
Sandalwood and amber finish it warm and creamy, adding warm amber depth and the longevity a pure musk would lack. This eau de parfum creates a comfortable soft musk and woody drydown that stays pleasant throughout the day with a long lasting impression.

Why is pear so widely used in fragrance?
It gives sweetness without sharpness it is not tart like citrus or sugary like berry. It reads as soft and expensive, which is why it appears in a great many commercially successful launches.
Is it a fruity or a musk fragrance?
It opens fruity and settles into a musk. The pear is gone within the first half hour, leaving a soft musk-amber drydown.
How does it compare with 1151 Soft White Musk?
1151 is a pure clean musk with a simple bergamot opening. 1092 adds pear, making it a little sweeter and more approachable. 1151 for a true skin scent, 1092 for an easy everyday fragrance.
Is it unisex in practice?
Yes, though it leans slightly feminine. The sandalwood and amber base keeps it balanced.
