Description

Rum and tobacco belong together the association is a cigar bar, and it is one of the most evocative things a fragrance can suggest. Code 1189 combines the boozy and tobacco families in a luxurious blend, and it is the warmest evening fragrance in the catalogue. Its top notes of bergamot and rum open dark and molasses-rich, lifted just enough by bergamot to stop the accord becoming syrupy.

Tobacco leaf and rose form the heart, and the rose is the surprise. A little rose in a masculine-leaning composition adds plushness and keeps the rich tobacco character from becoming purely dry. The effect is sensual rather than merely strong, with warm spicy notes rather than a profile dominated by clove, cinnamon or dried fruits.

Oud, sweet vanilla and amber finish it deep and warm. The composition does not rely on tonka bean or sandalwood for richness; instead, the oud, vanilla and amber create the depth. It is long lasting, with exceptional longevity, and the whole composition is built for evening wear in cold weather.

Position it at a premium price; it smells expensive. If supported by the relevant supplier documentation, claims such as cruelty free can also be used in the product presentation.
