About this oil

Description

Regal Oud Sandalwood 1215 is a refined oud fragrance with an unusual structure, placing agarwood (oud) in the drydown rather than the heart. The top notes of bergamot and lemon create a bright, clean opening that initially feels far removed from a traditional oud composition.

The heart notes combine iris and incense, giving the fragrance a cool, powdery and dry character through the first stage of wear. This restrained middle makes it more approachable for customers who usually find oud too heavy.

The base notes of agarwood (oud), sandalwood and cedar gradually add warmth and depth. The result is a sophisticated eau de parfum profile suited to everyday wear or special occasions, with the oud revealing itself slowly rather than dominating from the start.

Compliance documents supplied with this oil

Every bulk order from Phoenix Cosmetic Safety ships with the paperwork you need to put the finished product on the UK or EU market not just the oil.

  • IFRA Conformity Certificate the maximum safe dosage for your product category, issued for the batch you buy.

  • Allergen declaration every declarable allergen with its percentage, so your label meets Annex III as amended by Regulation (EU) 2023/1545.

  • Safety Data Sheet (SDS) 16-section GHS document for your carrier, warehouse and Amazon hazmat review.

  • Technical data sheet flashpoint, density, solubility, appearance and recommended dosage.

Need the finished-product documents too? We are a cosmetic regulatory consultancy as well as a supplier: we prepare the Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR), Product Information File and SCPN/CPNP notification for the perfume you make with this oil. No other bulk oil supplier does both.

FAQ

Questions about this oil

Why is the oud in the base?

It means the fragrance is cool and powdery for the first hour and only becomes recognisably an oud in the drydown. A customer testing on a blotter may not identify it as an oud at all.

Is this a good first oud for a customer?

It is the best entry point in the range for someone who finds oud too much even easier than 1181, because the oud arrives late and gradually.

How does it compare with 1095 Powdery Iris Amber?

The first hour is similar iris and incense. 1095 stays powdery; 1215 becomes woody. Stock both if that profile sells.

Is it unisex?

Yes, entirely. Iris, incense and oud are all gender-neutral materials.

Is it long-lasting?

Very. Oud, sandalwood and cedar are all persistent.
