Description
Classical rose can feel formal and slightly old-fashioned to a younger customer. Code 1116 is a modern interpretation, using raspberry and powdery accords to make the fragrance notes softer, more nostalgic and easy to wear. This fragrance oils profile gives rose a fresher, more contemporary direction.
Rose and raspberry open together, with raspberry adding a tart, slightly jammy character that enhances the fruity side of the rose. Jasmine and lilac create the floral heart, with lilac bringing a soft, green and slightly soapy quality that gives the composition its comforting white floral character.
Sandalwood, musk and powdery accords finish the fragrance with a smooth, clean-skin texture. The powdery drydown creates the cosmetic-like softness that makes this style of feminine fragrance widely appealing.

What does powdery mean in a fragrance?
A soft, slightly dusty texture reminiscent of cosmetics, talc and clean skin. It is one of the most reliably loved effects in women's fragrance and gives a drydown its comforting quality.
Which rose should I stock?
1011 if your customer wants a true, classic rose. 1116 if you are selling to a younger audience the raspberry and powder make it softer and more contemporary. Many brands stock both.
Is it suitable for body and talc products?
Yes powdery florals are the natural profile for talc, body powder and body cream, and 1116 is the best oil in the range for those formats.
Is raspberry too sweet?
It is tart rather than sugary here, and it is gone within the first half hour. The fragrance settles into rose and powder, not fruit.
