Opening a fragrance on iris alone, with no citrus to lift it, is a statement of intent. Iris is one of the most prestigious materials in perfumery, and 1095 puts it front and centre from the first second a clean and minimalist scent with the powdery comfort of iris and a feeling of quiet luxury.
Iris alone opens it, creating a cool, slightly metallic and unmistakably refined impression. Rose and incense form the heart, bringing a more complex, layered perfume structure with smoky, smooth incense and a deep, resinous heart that adds depth without removing the iris character.
Amber, vanilla and musk close it with resinous warmth of amber, syrupy vanilla and soft skin-like warmth. The fragrance moves from cool powder to a velvety, opulent balance, with warming and deepening facets that make it ideal for special occasions or to wear alone. The drydown delivers warm, balsamic facets with a subtle, hushed powderiness that defines its luxurious character. If supported by supplier documentation, claims such as cruelty-free can also be used.

Why open on iris alone?
It signals quality immediately. Iris is the most expensive material in perfumery, and opening on it with no citrus lift makes the fragrance feel serious from the first second.
How does it compare with 1121 and 1135, your other iris oils?
1121 is a feminine floral with rose and magnolia. 1135 is a dry unisex niche composition with cocoa and vetiver. 1095 is the most luxurious iris alone into incense and amber.
Is it austere?
Cool at first, then warm. The amber and vanilla base makes the second half comfortable, and the contrast is the appeal.
Is it suitable for body powder?
