Every finished perfume sold in the UK or EU needs a safety report, a product file and a notification. Our assessors already know this oil.
Description
Most ouds are softened from the base, with vanilla or sandalwood arriving late to round off the wood. Code 1123 does it from inside the heart instead, making this fragrance oil feel balanced from the first minutes rather than only in the drydown.
Bergamot and incense form the top notes, creating a dry, ceremonial opening with just enough brightness. Oud, saffron and rosewood make up the middle notes, with rosewood softening the woodiness while saffron adds a leathery spice that ties the heart together.
Amber and sandalwood form the base notes, finishing warm and creamy. Balanced throughout, this is one of the easier ouds to wear across a full day. A Safety Data Sheet should also be retained as part of the product documentation where supplied.

Questions about this oil
What is rosewood?
A warm, woody material with a faintly rosy character, uncommon in modern perfumery. Beside oud it softens and complicates the wood from within the heart rather than from the base.
Why is incense in the top notes?
It sets a dry, ceremonial tone from the first seconds rather than arriving later. The bergamot keeps it from being sombre.
Where else does rosewood appear?
In 1103 Gourmand Vanilla Almond, where it gives the heart a soft powderiness.
Is it good for bakhoor?
Yes incense, oud and amber are the expected profile and perform well burned.
