Every finished perfume sold in the UK or EU needs a safety report, a product file and a notification. Our assessors already know this oil.
Description
Saffron, rose, oud and amber is the backbone of modern oriental perfumery the profile most Gulf customers recognise first. Code 1262 is a clean, classic version of it, supplied ready-mixed.
Saffron opens it warm, leathery and slightly metallic. Rose follows, full and rich, the traditional partner for oud.
Oud and amber form the base. The oud is resinous and woody; the amber adds a dry, golden warmth rather than sweetness. Unisex, long-lasting and timeless, it is a dependable core oud for any range.

Questions about this oil
How is it different from 1265 Oriental Royal Oud?
Only the base differs. 1262 has amber, which makes it drier and more resinous; 1265 has vanilla, which makes it sweeter and smoother. Choose 1262 for a classic oud, 1265 for a softer crowd-pleaser.
What does amber mean here?
In perfumery, amber is an accord rather than the fossil resin — typically labdanum, benzoin and vanilla-like materials that give a warm, resinous glow.
Is it suited to the Gulf market?
Yes. This is the core oriental profile in the Gulf, where it sells year-round.
Is it long-lasting?
Very. Oud and amber are among the most persistent materials in perfumery.
What must go on the bottle label?
Under Article 19: the Responsible Person's name and address, nominal content, batch number, period-after-opening symbol, any precautions, and the ingredient list including declarable allergens. Our Label Compliance Checker can review your artwork for 1262 before you print.
What sizes and lead time?
A 5 ml sample, 500 ml and 1000 ml, shipped in 4–6 working days with IFRA certificate, allergen declaration and Safety Data Sheet.
