Description
Violet and mint in the same opening is a combination found nowhere else in this catalogue one powdery and cool, the other sharp and cold. Together they create an unexpected introduction to a warm cinnamon & vanilla fragrance profile.
Violet and mint form the opening, with violet bringing a powdery, slightly green character and mint adding a clear, refreshing coolness. Sage, lavender and cinnamon create the heart, with aromatic herbs gradually introducing warmth and spice.
Vanilla, tonka bean and amber form the base, creating a rich and sweet drydown. The contrast between the cool opening and warm finish is what makes this fragrance oil distinctive.

Questions about this oil
Why violet and mint together?
Both are cool, but in different ways violet powdery, mint sharp. The pairing deliberately misdirects; nothing in the opening suggests the warm vanilla below.
How does it compare with 1124, 1071 and 1030?
All four are masculine vanillas. 1124 uses black pepper, 1071 incense, 1030 vetiver. 1041 uses cinnamon and has the coolest opening of the four.
Does cinnamon restrict the dosage?
Yes, in leave-on products, and it carries declarable allergens. Work from your certificate.
Is the arc noticeable to a customer?
Very. What you smell at ten minutes and at three hours are substantially different, which rewards wearing over blotter testing.
Is it seasonal?
It suits autumn and winter, though the cool opening makes it more wearable in spring than most spiced vanillas.
