Description
Bitter almond usually supports a cherry or a vanilla. Here it leads, and the difference is significant: the marzipan character is the fragrance rather than an accent, which makes 1103 the most distinctive almond product you can build.
Bitter almond opens it with jasmine beside it. Almond in perfumery is marzipan and cherry stone sweet but with a bitter, slightly medicinal edge that keeps it from being simply sugary. The jasmine adds an immediate floral richness.
Rosewood and tuberose form the heart. Rosewood is warm, woody and faintly rosy, and it is a rare choice in modern perfumery; against tuberose's creamy opulence it gives the composition a soft, powdery middle that almond alone would lack.
Vanilla and musk finish it smooth and skin-close. The whole thing is warm, edible and comforting without being heavy, and it performs particularly well in body care and lip products where almond has a natural association.
