Description
Caramel is a difficult note to make masculine. Code 1030 achieves this by placing vetiver directly alongside it in the heart earth against sugar creating a balanced fragrance oil profile where sweetness and dryness work together rather than becoming a simple gourmand.
Mandarin and blood orange form the opening, giving a juicy and slightly bitter introduction. Blood orange adds a deeper citrus character, keeping the caramel sweetness controlled and adding freshness to the composition.
Vetiver and caramel create the heart, combining earthy, smoky dryness with smooth sweetness. The result is a warm spicy gourmand style where caramel adds richness without becoming overly sweet. Tonka bean and woods close the fragrance with a warm, dry finish, extending the sweetness while maintaining a refined masculine character.

Questions about this oil
How do you make a caramel fragrance masculine?
By putting vetiver directly alongside it in the heart rather than adding spice afterwards. Earth against sugar in the same breath cuts the sweetness far more effectively.
How does it compare with 1124 Pepper Vanilla and 1071 Vanilla Incense?
1124 uses black pepper and benzoin, 1071 uses incense. 1030 uses vetiver and is the sweetest of the three — a genuine gourmand rather than a dry oriental.
Is it too sweet for a male customer?
The vetiver keeps it balanced. It is the most wearable masculine gourmand in the range.
Is it suitable for beard products?
Yes, at 2–5%. Sweet-warm profiles perform well in beard oil and balm.
Will it discolour?
Yes caramel, tonka and the woods are dark materials. Expect an amber tint.
