Description
Ylang-ylang and pineapple share a lush, faintly banana-like sweetness, which is why they blend so seamlessly. Code 1232 uses that overlap to produce the most convincingly tropical floral in the catalogue the fruit and the flowers read as one thing rather than two.
Pineapple and apple open it juicy and bright, the apple giving a crisp edge that keeps the pineapple from being syrupy.
Rose, jasmine and ylang-ylang form the heart. Ylang-ylang is the key material: creamy, heady and slightly banana-like, it picks up the pineapple's sweetness and carries it into the floral heart so the transition is seamless. Rose and jasmine add structure around it.
Vanilla, musk and sandalwood close it warm and creamy. Lush throughout and unapologetically sweet a strong performer in body care, hair mist and gift ranges, and the tropical counterpart to the more restrained 1021.
