Description
Fruity florals are the largest category in women's fragrance, and most of them are warm and sweet. Code 1219 is the crisp alternative green apple rather than berry, and cedar rather than vanilla in the base which makes it drier and more grown-up than the category usually allows.
Green apple and peach open it. Green apple is tart and slightly sour where a red apple would be sweet, and it is the decision that sets the whole tone; peach adds softness without turning the opening sugary.
Rose, iris and jasmine build a full floral heart. The iris is the interesting inclusion cool and powdery among two rich florals, it adds refinement and keeps the middle from being simply pretty.
Cedar, sandalwood and musk close it dry. There is no vanilla and no amber, and their absence is the point: the drydown stays crisp rather than becoming comforting, which is what distinguishes this from every other fruity floral in the range.

How does it differ from 1001 Warm Vanilla Jasmine?
1001 is warm and creamy with patchouli and vanilla in the base. 1219 is crisp and dry, with green apple at the top and cedar in the base. Same customer, different mood stock both.
Why green apple rather than a red apple or berry?
Green apple is tart and slightly sour rather than sweet. It sets a drier, more grown-up tone from the first seconds.
Is it office-appropriate?
Yes it is one of the better feminine oils in the range for daytime and professional wear, because the dry cedar base keeps it from being sweet or heavy.
Is it long-lasting?
Good. The cedar, sandalwood and musk base is more persistent than the fruit suggests.
