Description
Rose is no longer a women-only note. In men's fragrance it has become a mark of something more considered than the standard blue scent. Code 1245 is a ready-mixed men's rose, and the trick is in what surrounds the flower.
Peppermint opens it cold and bracing, almost like a cooling aftershave. That chill sets a masculine tone before the rose arrives in the heart, so the rose reads as fresh and green rather than sweet or powdery.
Sandalwood and vetiver give it a dry, woody base creamy from the sandalwood, earthy from the vetiver. For a brand that wants a men's fragrance with a point of difference, it is an easy story: a rose made for men.

Will men wear a rose fragrance?
Increasingly, yes. Rose framed by mint and dry woods reads as fresh and modern rather than floral, and masculine roses are now a recognised niche category.
Why does the supplier class it as spicy?
Peppermint gives a cooling, aromatic sharpness that is grouped with the aromatic-spicy notes. There is no hot spice such as pepper or cinnamon.
Is it long-lasting?
Yes. Peppermint fades quickly, but the sandalwood and vetiver base is persistent and carries the rose.
