Description
The chypre structure citrus over florals over mossy woods is one of the great traditions of French perfumery. Code 1073 is the closest expression of this style in the catalogue, using patchouli to create the earthy depth traditionally associated with mossy bases.
Bergamot and neroli form the top notes, creating a classical chypre-style opening with bright citrus and a honeyed, slightly bitter floral character. Rose and iris create the heart notes, with iris adding cool powdery elegance and rose providing the floral centre.
Patchouli and sandalwood form the base notes. Patchouli brings an earthy, dry depth, while velvety sandalwood softens the finish. The result is a formal, refined eau de parfum with a sophisticated rose and patchouli character suitable for a unisex positioning.
