Description
Gardenia is a heart material almost everywhere. Opening with it means the fragrance is creamy and floral from the first second, and with three more florals below and vanilla underneath, 1025 is the richest bouquet in the catalogue.
Gardenia and bergamot open it. Gardenia is creamy, slightly green and faintly mushroomy in the way the real flower is, and putting it first means there is no fresh phase at all the fragrance is floral immediately.
Jasmine, rose and tuberose form the heart, layering three more florals on top of the gardenia. This is a great deal of flower, and the composition makes no attempt to be restrained about it.
Vanilla and musk close it creamy and soft. Vanilla under four florals makes the drydown rich and comfortable the opposite approach to 1019, which keeps its base light. Choose 1025 for a lush, old-fashioned floral and 1019 for a brighter one.
