Description
This is the most intense oil in the catalogue and the only one built around chili pepper. It is not a fragrance for everyone, and it should not be positioned as one but for a brand that wants a genuinely bold statement product, nothing else in the range comes close.
Bergamot, grapefruit and pepper open sharp and bright, three fast materials that hit at once. Then chili arrives in the heart with cinnamon and leather behind it. Chili in perfumery is not literally hot, but it reads as heat: dry, radiant, slightly prickly, and unlike anything else on a shelf.
Vetiver, tobacco and lavender ground it. Lavender in the base rather than the top is an unusual placement and it works the aromatic coolness stops the spice becoming airless over the first hour.
Use a lower dosage than you would expect. At full strength this is overwhelming; at 15–18% it is striking.

Questions about this oil
Is it actually hot?
No chili in perfumery is not literally warming on skin. It reads as heat: dry, radiant and slightly prickly. It is a scent impression, not a physical one.
Should I use it at the normal dosage?
No. Use 15–18% rather than the usual 20–25%. Overdosing is the main mistake with this oil; at full strength it is overwhelming rather than bold.
Who should stock it?
A brand that already has its core range and wants one product people remember. It is a statement SKU, not a volume seller.
Does cinnamon cause labelling issues?
Cinnamon materials carry declarable allergens and have IFRA restrictions in leave-on products. Your certificate gives the exact limits; stay within them.
Is it seasonal?
Strongly autumn-winter. The spice is too warming for summer wear in most markets.
