Description copy
White pepper is cleaner and less biting than black pepper the heat is present but more rounded. Code 1131 uses it against iris, creating one of the most refined spiced masculine oils in the catalogue.
Bergamot and ginger open it bright and warm at once. The ginger leads naturally into the heart, where iris and white pepper create a contrast between cool powder and soft heat. The result feels polished rather than aggressive, with the spice staying controlled throughout.
Tonka bean, cedar wood and vetiver close it, adding dry structure with a touch of hay-like sweetness. The ginger & cedarwood combination helps carry the fragrance from the warm opening into a clean, woody drydown.

Iris is cool and powdery, white pepper warm and rounded. Neither dominates, and the tension between them gives the heart real interest.
How does it compare with 1117 Bergamot Pepper?
1117 uses two peppers and ambroxan for high projection and a contemporary feel. 1131 is quieter and more refined, better suited to office and daytime wear.
