Description
Lily of the valley is the lightest white floral in perfumery and tuberose the heaviest. Putting them in the same heart is a deliberate contrast, and it produces the only white floral in this catalogue balanced enough to sell as unisex.
Bergamot and rose open it. Rose in the top rather than the heart is unusual and it gives the fragrance floral weight from the first seconds rather than building to it.
Tuberose and lily of the valley form the heart. Tuberose is creamy and opulent; lily of the valley green, dewy and almost transparent. The contrast keeps the composition from settling into either register, and the tension between them is what makes it interesting rather than simply pretty.
Amber, sandalwood and vanilla close it warm and soft. The base is generous but not sweet, and it lets both florals remain legible through the drydown.

Questions about this oil
Why lily of the valley with tuberose?
They are the lightest and heaviest white florals in perfumery. The contrast keeps the composition from settling into either register, which is what makes it balanced enough to sell as unisex.
Is a white floral really unisex?
This one is, because neither floral dominates and the amber-sandalwood base is warm rather than sweet. It is the only white floral in the range positioned that way.
Why is rose in the top notes?
It gives the fragrance floral weight from the first seconds rather than building to it, which suits a composition where the heart is already full.
Is it suitable for home fragrance?
Yes balanced florals work well in room and linen sprays where a very heavy white floral would be overpowering.
Does it contain declarable allergens?
Yes rose and tuberose materials carry several.
