Description
Iris is one of the most prestigious materials in perfumery, and Code 1121 uses it in the classical way as the cool, elegant heart of a feminine floral. The notes & ingredients are built around iris and Moroccan rose, creating a refined profile with soft, powdery elegance from the opening.
May rose and iris open together, with the rose making the iris feel fresher and more approachable. Jasmine and magnolia then build the heart, adding creamy, slightly green floral depth and giving the composition the scent of poetic grace rather than a heavy floral effect.
White musk and sandalwood finish it soft and clean, with the clean embrace of white musk leaving the iris still noticeable underneath. Sandalwood provides a solid, dignified foundation, keeping the overall impression quiet, polished and elegant.

Why is iris expensive?
Iris butter is produced from orris root, which must be dried and aged for several years before processing. It is among the costliest materials in perfumery, and its presence signals quality.
How does it differ from 1135 Earthy Iris Vetiver?
1135 pairs iris with cocoa and vetiver for a dry, earthy, unisex niche character. 1121 uses it classically with rose, jasmine and magnolia for an elegant feminine floral. Different customers entirely.
Is it a strong fragrance?
No, deliberately. It is refined and close to the skin. If you need more projection, add 1237 Iso E Super at 5–10%, which increases diffusion without changing the character.
What is magnolia?
A lemony, creamy, slightly green floral. Here it lifts the iris and keeps the composition from becoming heavy.
Which formats suit it?
Eau de parfum and body cream. It is an elegant rather than a playful fragrance, so premium formats suit it best.
