Description
Leather is a base material. It is heavy, slow and normally arrives later in a fragrance. Code 1074 places it in the top notes with anise beside it, creating an immediate and distinctive leather oud style with a bold opening from the first seconds.
Leather and anise open together with no citrus or bright materials to soften the entry. Anise adds a cool, liquorice-like contrast against the leather’s warmth, creating a memorable and unconventional scent profile.
Jasmine and oud form the heart, adding floral depth and resinous richness, while amber and incense create the base with a dry, smoky finish. This eau de parfum delivers exceptional longevity, with a performance that can last 12+ hours depending on application and skin chemistry. Suitable for brands positioning a distinctive, alcohol-free fragrance option where supported by formulation details.

Questions about this oil
Why is leather in the top notes?
Leather is normally a base material that arrives an hour in. Putting it first makes the fragrance immediate and confronting a customer knows exactly what it is within seconds, which is unusual and memorable.
How does it compare with your other leather oils?
1218 is soft and daytime-wearable, 1104 clean and versatile, 1078 refined and powdery, 1028 smoky and assertive, 1149 unusual through anise. 1074 is the darkest and most confronting of all six.
Is it wearable?
For the right customer, yes. It is a signature or evening fragrance rather than a core SKU, and it should be positioned that way.
Is it unisex in practice?
Yes, though it is dark rather than gendered. The jasmine gives it enough floral complication to sit on anyone.
Will it discolour?
Yes leather, oud and incense are all dark materials. Expect a deep amber tint and use opaque packaging.
