Description
Apple with clove is an autumn idea orchard fruit and warming spice and no other oil in this catalogue occupies that season. Most fresh fragrances are built for summer; 1084 is the one for September onward.
Apple and bergamot open it crisp and green. The apple here is fresh and tart rather than candied, and it is what keeps the composition from reading as a warm spice fragrance despite the clove that follows.
Geranium and clove form the heart. Clove is sharp, dry and slightly medicinal a difficult material at high dosage but excellent in small amounts and geranium's green rosiness stops it becoming a mulled-wine cliché.
Vetiver, sandalwood and musk close it earthy and clean. The result is fresh but warm-edged, which makes it a useful transitional fragrance and a strong seller in autumn grooming ranges.

Questions about this oil
Is clove difficult to work with?
At high dosage it is sharp and medicinal, and it carries IFRA restrictions in leave-on products. Used sparingly, as here, it adds dry warmth without dominating. Work from your certificate.
Why apple and clove together?
It is an autumn idea orchard fruit and warming spice. No other oil in this catalogue occupies that season; most fresh compositions are built for summer.
How does it differ from 1134 Spiced Apple Vetiver?
1134 adds cinnamon and is warmer and more spiced. 1084 keeps the apple crisper and the composition fresher. 1084 for early autumn, 1134 for deep winter.
Is it seasonal?
It sells best from September through November. Grooming products move it through the rest of the year.
Does it contain declarable allergens?
Clove and geranium materials both carry several. The allergen declaration lists each with percentages.
