Description
A milk note is one of the more unusual things a fragrance can contain and it does something no other material does: it reads as comfort. Several successful niche launches have been built on it, and 1174 is the only oil in this catalogue that has it.
The milk accord opens with bergamot, and the effect is immediately soft lactonic, slightly sweet, faintly powdery, like warm milk rather than anything dairy in an unpleasant sense. The bergamot stops it being cloying in the first seconds.
Iris and lavender in the heart are a clever pairing against it. Iris is cool and powdery, lavender aromatic and clean, and both add structure to what would otherwise be a shapeless softness.
Vanilla, sandalwood and musk finish it. The drydown is creamy and skin-close with good longevity a comfort fragrance in the truest sense, and one of the easiest oils in the range to sell into body care.

How does it compare with 1151 Soft White Musk?
