Description
Cardamom is an underused opening in leather perfumery and it does something no citrus can: it is warm and bright at the same time, so the fragrance starts with lift without ever feeling cold. Code 1104 is the most versatile leather in the catalogue as a result.
Cardamom and saffron together give a spiced, slightly sweet opening that leads naturally into the heart rather than contrasting with it. Both are dry spices, so nothing here fights the leather.
Jasmine against leather is the heart, and the jasmine is used sparingly enough to add a little bloom and keep the leather from being flat, not enough to make this a floral.
Amber, woods and musk close it out cleanly. The musk is the practical detail: it keeps the drydown skin-close and clean, which means this oil works in body products and deodorants where the heavier leathers would be unwearable.

Why cardamom rather than citrus?

This one. The clean musk base means it works in body mist and deodorant as well as perfume, where the smokier leathers are too heavy.
