What is MoCRA product listing?
FD&C Act section 607(c), added by MoCRA, requires the responsible person to list each cosmetic product with FDA through Cosmetics Direct, including its ingredients, category and the facilities that make it. New products must be listed within 120 days of going on sale, and listings are updated each year. There is no FDA fee. Listings are reviewed by Syed Muhammad Shamuel Shees, US Regulatory Lead.
What each listing contains
Per SKU:
- Product name and category.
- Ingredients, including fragrances, flavours and colours as required.
- Facility registration numbers.
- Label images where relevant.
