Description
Brown sugar is the material that makes this oil worth stocking. Caramel is common in gourmand perfumery, but brown sugar offers a different character drier, slightly molasses-like and less buttery. This creates a distinctive warm profile built around vanilla & amber.
Gardenia forms the top notes on its own, creating an immediate creamy floral opening rather than a bright citrus introduction. Vanilla and jasmine create the heart notes, with jasmine adding floral depth and preventing the sweetness from becoming flat.
Brown sugar, amber and sandalwood form the base notes, giving the fragrance a warm, smooth and slightly toasted drydown. The combination of sweetness, woods and vanilla & amber warmth makes it comfortable, long-lasting and especially suitable for body care applications.

How is brown sugar different from caramel in a fragrance?
Brown sugar is drier and slightly molasses-like, with a toasted quality. Caramel is buttery and heavier. If you already stock 1015 or 1222 with caramel, this gives you a genuinely different sweet profile.
Why is there only one top note?
Gardenia alone means no citrus lift, so the fragrance starts creamy and floral rather than bright. It signals immediately that this is a rich composition.
Is it unisex in practice?
Yes, though it leans slightly feminine through the gardenia. The dry sugar and sandalwood base keeps it balanced.
Which formats suit it?
Body cream, candles and eau de parfum. Warm sweet gourmands sell strongly in body care and home fragrance.
Will it discolour?
Yes vanilla, brown sugar and amber are all dark materials. Expect an amber tint and use opaque packaging.
