Are you fully prepared for your Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR)?
Use this step-by-step checklist to avoid delays and ensure your submission goes smoothly.

Your Pre-CPSR Checklist

1. Do you have your full formula?

  • Exact percentages (w/w%) or grams for each ingredient

  • INCI names, ingredient functions, and CAS numbers

2. Do you have all supplier documentation?

  • Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all raw materials

  • Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) for all raw materials

  • Allergen declarations & IFRA statements (if using fragrances, essential oils, or botanical extracts)

 3. Have you tested your finished product?

  • Physical-Chemical Test – Appearance, odour, pH, texture

  • Stability Test – Required for all products

  • Challenge Test – Required for water-based products

  • Microbiology Test – Recommended for products containing water

4. Do you have packaging & labelling details?

  • Primary (container) and secondary (box/carton) packaging information

  • Draft label including INCI list, batch codes, expiry or PAO symbol, Responsible Person details, and usage instructions
