Questions about this oil
Which oud should I choose if my customers are new to oud?
This one. The passion fruit and bergamot opening makes it far more approachable than 1154 or 1236. Once customers are comfortable with the note, 1002 is the natural next step, then 1154 or 1233.
Does the fruit fade quickly?
Yes passion fruit and bergamot are top notes and will fade within the first half hour, leaving the oud, jasmine and sandalwood. That progression is the point of the composition.
Is it unisex?
Yes. The fruit reads slightly feminine and the oud masculine, which balances it across both.
Can I use it in body mist?
Yes, at 3–6%. The fruity opening makes it better suited to body mist than the heavier ouds in the range.
What concentration should I use?
18–25% in an alcohol-based eau de parfum, 15–20% in an oil-based roll-on, and 1–3% in rinse-off.
